Les Echos covers the story behind Fireguard, our ultralight fire protection cover developed to protect artworks, sculptures, and furniture during fires. The idea came from our sales team, who noticed that cultural heritage protection plans were evolving following the Notre-Dame fire in 2019.

Derived from a tarpaulin we already supplied to firefighters for forest fire protection, our R&D team reduced the weight from 700 g/m² to just 100 g/m², making it fast to deploy in an emergency.

Fireguard is now in use at the Louvre, the Bibliothèque Nationale de France, and the Musées des Arts et Métiers and Jacquemart-André in Paris, with international clients in Switzerland and Sweden.
