Cultural heritage is increasingly exposed to elements that can cause its loss or deterioration. Developed in close collaboration with leading French cultural institutions and first responders, OTEGO created FIREGUARD, an aluminized emergency cover for artwork and valuable objects.
FIREGUARD protects against radiant heat, smoke and soot, and water. It is lightweight and easy to deploy, available in several sizes by object type, from small sculptures to large wall-hung paintings.
Keep folded in its pouch, positioned near the object it protects, ready for immediate access.
Remove from the pouch, unfold, and place over the object. Small covers: one person. Large covers: two to three people.
Fasten the edges with the integrated velcro closure, then tie down through the reinforced rope holes.

- Radiant heat resistance: ISO 11612, C4 classification (highest available)
- Water resistance against mist, sprinkler systems, and extinguishing agents.
