BELLOW FABRICS FOR

Laser cutting machine technologies (CO2, optical fiber) offer new possibilities in terms of industrial machining (faster & better), but also require higher standards in terms of protection and safety. We have developed a range of bellow fabrics for laser cutting machines focusing on fire proofing and heat resistant properties.

FLAME RESISTANT / FIRE RETARDANT COVER FOR LASER CUTTING MACHINES

LASER BEAM GUIDE WAY BELLOW

Beam bellows are used on CO2 laser machines, to shield the optical beam from dust particles and hot metal chips generated during the cutting process. For this application, we have developed a PUR (Reticulated Polyurethane) coated flame resistant fabric that will prevent burning holes from damaging the cover. The fabric can be welded (HF, heat), easily folded, and presents an outstanding mechanical strength (for longer lifespan).

LASER SIDE COVERS

Apart from the beam bellow, a laser cutting machine requires also side covers to protect the motion guides from metal dusts and scraps. If the requirements are not as strict as the beam bellow, the risks of a fire sparked by incandescent metal scraps burning the bellows are not to be taken lightly. Our laser bellows fabrics range is complying with the EU fire standards to ensure that our fabrics are safe to use. From Fire retardant to Flame resistant, our PUR coated fabrics offer various thicknesses and fire resistance levels to match any type of requirement.
